Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty

Savage Beauty at The V&A exhibits the work and influences of Alexander McQueen and has received wide critical acclaim for exhibiting his vision and creativity.

Having worked on a number of McQueen shows and having designed elements for The Met  version of the exhibition, Dick Straker of Mesmer was approached to oversee all projection elements. This included the Cabinet of Curiosities, Primitivism and Voss sections of the show.

A major part of this included re-creating Dick’s iconic Pepper’s Ghost installation from the McQueen AW 2006 show, featuring a holographic Kate Moss floating inside a glass pyramid.
