Secret Cinema created a secret world for Stanley Kubrick’s Dr. Strangelove in a former newspaper factory in South East London.

In February and March this year, the factory was transformed into Burpelson Air Base and the D.O.C.S. Headquarters (Department of Cultural Surveillance) at the height of the nuclear conflict between the USSR and the USA.

20,000 of members of the public reported to duty at base over the course of 2 months to enter a thrilling and mysterious world, reaching its climax with a crisis summit in a life-size replica of the iconic War Room.
