Realisation of all projections and creation of original content for Deborah Warner's adaptation of Jeanette Winterson's novel at the National Theatre.

Realisation of Bill Dudley's bold vision of projected scenery on moving, rotating and curved surfaces. We developed a unique and unprecedented projection and playback system (the mesmerist) for this show as well as managed the entire image production workflow.

Our first show with Complicite. Projection and lighting were tightly intervoven and matched to create a unified visual language, whilst sound effects where tied to projection effects to convey clearer meaning. This was the first time a Catalyst Media server system had been used in this way and at the National Theatre. It is now the standard approach to mounting productions with video content there.
